What we collect
The videos you send, their transcription, your onboarding answers (role, language, posting rhythm), your first name and handle if you provide them, and your email address when you create an account. No location data, no contacts, no advertising identifiers.
Why
Only to produce your cut: transcribe the video, detect what to remove, render the final video and generate the hook and description. Onboarding answers estimate the time you save and shape the defaults.
Where it goes
Videos are processed on our servers in Europe. Audio is transcribed by ElevenLabs (Scribe) and the transcript is analysed by a language model (OpenAI, via Emergent) to spot retakes and rambling. These providers act as processors and do not use your content to train models.
How long
Videos and transcripts are kept long enough to deliver your cut and let you retrieve it, then deleted from our servers at most 30 days after upload. You can delete a cut from the app at any time.
Your rights (GDPR)
Access, rectification, deletion, portability, objection: write to us and we answer within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (CNIL in France).
Minors
Postcut is not intended for anyone under 13.
